Cookie & Storage Notice

This notice explains how Loomis, a product of O2mation LLC, uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on our website, in the dashboard, and in our embeddable Web Chat Widget.

No Advertising or Tracking Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. Because we only use storage that is strictly necessary for the service to work, we do not show a cookie banner.

Sign-in Cookies (Dashboard)

When you log in, our authentication provider (Supabase) stores your session in cookies so you stay signed in as you move between pages. These cookies are strictly necessary. Without them you cannot use your account. They are removed when you log out or when the session expires.

Dashboard Settings (Local Storage)

The dashboard also uses your browser’s localStorage to remember a few things on your own device: messages from the bot test chat, which channels you paused, and whether the web widget is connected. This stays in your browser, is not used for tracking, and is cleared when you clear your browser’s site data.

Web Chat Widget and Local Storage

When a business installs our Web Chat Widget on its website, the chat opens in a small window (an iframe) served from loomis.bot. That window uses the browser’s localStorage for loomis.bot (not cookies, and not the business’s own website storage) to keep the conversation going.

  • What is stored: a random session ID tied to that bot (for example, loomis_session_{botId}).
  • Why: so a visitor can leave the page and come back without losing the chat.
  • It is not used to track visitors across websites.

How to Clear Stored Data

  • Log out of the dashboard.
  • Clear your browser’s cookies and site data.
  • Use private or incognito browsing, which removes this data when you close the window.

Changes

If we ever add non-essential cookies (for example, analytics that use cookies), we will update this notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
